I was so fortunate to be a part of another M365 Conference in Las Vegas last week, May 1-5 2023. It was great to reconnect with the speakers, organizers, and make some new friends! The buzz was around Copilot and the announcement that it will be coming to SharePoint Online. In addition to this, I was excited to hear about the new SharePoint Brand Center including #BYOF Bring Your Own Font capabilities.

During my time in Vegas, I hosted a Women in Tech luncheon, worked two Community booth shifts, and delivered two sessions. First, the Women in Tech luncheon allowed me to network with other women embracing Power Platform in the tech community. I truly enjoyed making some new connections and also provided resources for those looking to be more involved.

As for the Community Booth, this was time spent handing out swag, answering questions, and connecting with various Microsoft product groups.

Lastly, I delivered two sessions: Power Apps – Tips from a First-Time User and Six Power Automate Essentials to Keep Your Business Flowing. Both sessions drew large crowds – there is still a need for the semi-basic level courses that connect users with day-to-day skills.

Big THANK YOU to the organizers of this event. I know it takes a lot of work behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly and those efforts do not go unnoticed. Also, thank you to the attendees for being so engaged. You are the driving force behind these conferences and I’m so appreciative to each and every one of you that attended my sessions.
Next up: I’ll be speaking at the Microsoft Power Platform Conference at the same venue in Las Vegas October 1-6. If you’ve ever dabbled in Power Platform, this is a DO NOT MISS event! Hope to see you there!
